The MarCELL NIST-certified temperature and power monitors are intended for applications that require an enhanced level of tracking and documentation. The devices satisfy the accuracy requirements as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The Tel-Tru (www.teltru.com) sealed temperature sensors are intended industries that require precision temperature tracking and power monitoring around the clock.
The MarCELL NIST temperature probe is manufactured by our temperature measurement partner Tel-Tru. The probe is tested in Tel-Tru’s ISO 9000 certified facility and a NIST traceable certificate is issued for each MarCELL probe. The certificate is valid for 25 months and all expiring probes are replaced for free upon subscription renewal.
Data is logged every five minutes and uploaded to your dashboard every hour. If there is an alarm condition it is reported immediately. Historical data is always available and downloadable through the desktop interface or mobile app. If the temperature is out of range, or a power outage occurs, up to nine team members will receive a push notification or alert by text, phone, or email.

MarCELL subscription plans provide you with a cellular connection for your device, real-time reporting of any issues and access to our website to view device status / historical information on temperature, power status and alarms.
A monthly connection fee (as low as $14.95/month) is required. There are no long term contracts required and you pay only for the months you would like service. You will select and pay for your MarCELL subscription plan when activating the device through our website or mobile app.
MarCELL uses Verizon and AT&T’s cellular network to provide the widest range of coverage and can be used anywhere there is a cellular connection. For those intending to use the device in Canada, we recommend AT&T as the preferred network.
The certificate of calibration is valid for 2 years. After 2 years, a replacement calibrated probe will be provided.

No, MarCELL uses its own independent 4G data connection. It does not require Wi-Fi, fixed broadband, or an existing phone line.

With MarCELL NIST it is easy – a new calibrated temperature sensor will be sent upon the second renewal of your subscription.
You return the old temperature sensor in the provided return envelope and you are all set. There is no additional charge for maintaining calibration.
The MarCELL NIST uses a digital temperature sensor so it can operate at extended range and also does not require separate calibration of the MarCELL unit.
